Malá Úpa

Malá Úpa lies in the eastern Giant Mountains, right on the Polish border, and is one of the highest-altitude ski centres in the Czech Republic. Its slopes (6.8 km) suit families with kids, beginners and more advanced skiers, the resort sections – Pomezky, Černá Voda, Hýbnerka and U Kostela – are connected by lifts, and night skiing runs on the U Kostela 400 lift, with a view of Sněžka. The season usually runs from mid December to late March, and an adult day pass in main season costs CZK 1,190 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
