Ještěd

Ještěd is the local mountain of Liberec, and the ski area starts right at the edge of the city – public transport from Liberec is free, and day visitors who drive can use a large parking garage. Although it is of modest size (10.6 km of slopes), it has become one of the leading Czech ski destinations thanks to its variety and tradition, with runs at every level, a snowpark for experts, a kids' area with conveyor belts and night skiing. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs CZK 990 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
