Willingen

Willingen sits in a valley basin in the Sauerland, with slopes on the Ettelsberg, Hoppernkopf and Ritzhagen reached by a gondola, a chairlift and drag lifts. The easy and intermediate runs (16 km) are popular with families and beginners, there are many children's areas, and about half the slopes have snowmaking; the town is also known for its Ski Jumping World Cup. Night skiing is available. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 19 December 2026 to 7 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €43 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
