Nebelhorn / Oberstdorf

The Nebelhorn above Oberstdorf (2,224 m) is the highest ski area in the Allgäu, with a panorama of over 400 peaks, and a 10-seater gondola carries you up from town. It has 12.9 km of slopes for all levels, the longest snow-covered valley run in Germany and snow reliability well into spring, and the test also rated it for freeriders. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 12 December 2026 to 2 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €68.70 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
