Zugspitze

Zugspitze is a high-alpine ski area on Germany’s highest peak, with a 360° panorama and slopes on the Zugspitzplatt plateau. You get up by cable car from Eibsee in Grainau, from Ehrwald in Tyrol, or by cogwheel railway from Garmisch-Partenkirchen; the 17 km of slopes offer natural snow, several deep-snow runs for freeriding and dedicated toboggan runs. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 27 November 2026 to 2 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €69 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
