Golte is in the Savinjska region of Slovenia, on the slopes of Mount Medvedjak. A gondola carries guests up from the valley (there is no valley run) and chairlifts mainly serve the slopes at the top; it is a small area with 12 km of slopes, and Hotel Golte stands right in the ski area at around 1,400 m. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 19 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €20 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
