Krvavec in Gorenjska, near Cerklje, is Ljubljana's local mountain. A gondola takes visitors up to a high alpine pasture (1,450–1,970 m) with no valley run, and thanks to the altitude the season is long by Slovenian standards. It is a small but well-kept area (30 km of slopes) suited to families and beginners, with a ski school and magic carpets. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 28 November 2026 to 18 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €45 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
