Wildschönau

Wildschönau is the Ski Juwel side with the church villages of Niederau, Oberau, Thierbach and Auffach – the area is shared with Alpbachtal and linked to it by the Schatzberg lift, so you can ski between the two valleys in one day (97.7 km of slopes in total). Skiresort.com praises it for a bit of everything: families, beginners, freeriders and snowpark fans, and in the evening there is night skiing at Roggenboden in Oberau. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 4 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €71.50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
