Wettersteinbahnen Ehrwald

The Wettersteinbahnen are Ehrwald's local mountain, on the western side of the Wetterstein range right at the foot of the Zugspitze. It is a clearly laid-out, family-friendly area with sunny slopes below the tree line: most runs are easy, the ski schools have their own children's areas, and the Sonnenhang entry point has a good practice zone with a conveyor belt and a 6-seater chairlift. Night skiing is available at Sonnenhang. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 19 December 2026 to 14 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €55 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
