Sölden

Sölden is one of the biggest areas in Tyrol (144 km of slopes) in the Ötztal valley, with two glaciers – Rettenbachferner and Tiefenbachferner – and runs up to 3,340 m, so snow is reliable and the season long. The Alpine skiing World Cup opens here every year at the end of October. The three-thousand-metre peaks known as the BIG 3 are reached by cable car, there is something for everyone from freeriding to families, and Bond fans can visit the Gaislachkogl, where Spectre was filmed. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 9 October 2026 to 2 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €86.50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
