Kössen

Kössen is a family-friendly, manageable area in the Kaiserwinkl in Tyrol, close to the Bavarian border. A six-person gondola takes you from the car park straight up to Hochkössen on the Unterberghorn; there is a children's area, a large practice zone for beginners and a black run for the more experienced (21.7 km of slopes). Skiresort.com gives no dates for the 2026/2027 season; skiing usually runs from early December to early April, and an adult day pass in main season costs €46.50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
