Stubaier Gletscherbahn

The Stubaier Gletscherbahn runs the glacier above the Stubai valley, about a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck – according to skiresort.com the largest glacier ski area in Austria (runs from 1,695 to 3,210 m). Highlights are the 10 km Wilde Grube valley run, the steep Daunhill slope and the Stubai Zoo snowpark; freeriders have the Powder Department and families a children's area. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 9 October 2026 to 17 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €72.50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
