Steinplatte

Steinplatte is a cross-border area: on the Austrian side (Tyrol, Waidring) is the Steinplatte, on the Bavarian side (Reit im Winkl) the Winklmoosalm, and modern gondolas take you into the area from both. Winklmoosalm is a great place for beginners, while Steinplatte has some demanding runs besides the easy ones, plus a snowpark, a funline, childcare and views from the summit (42 km of slopes). The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €66 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
