Pillersee

Pillersee is the family-oriented Buchensteinwand ski area in the Pillerseetal valley in Tyrol, in the Kitzbühel Alps, spread between St. Ulrich am Pillersee, St. Jakob in Haus and Hochfilzen (21.2 km of slopes plus 2.5 km of ski routes). The highest point is the Buchensteinwand (1,456 m) with fine views over the surrounding mountains. Skiresort.com rates it for families, snow reliability and cross-country skiing. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
