Mölltaler Gletscher

Mölltaler Gletscher is Carinthia's only glacier ski area, in the southern part of the Hohe Tauern in the Mölltal valley. Thanks to its altitude (up to about 3,120 m) snow is reliable from autumn to late spring, and the area has plenty of challenging, perfectly groomed slopes (36 km), which is why national ski teams train here. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 30 October 2026 to 30 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €72 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
