Topschiregion Katschberg lies on the border between Salzburg and Carinthia, right by the Tauern motorway, and covers two mountains, Aineck and Tschaneck, with St. Margarethen im Lungau connected too. It has 80 km of slopes and rates highly for its huts, après-ski and experts' terrain, while children get the Katschi mascot and a dedicated Katschi's Kinderland. Night skiing runs at Königswiese. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 4 December 2026 to 28 March 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €73 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
