Bardonecchia is in the Susa Valley in Piedmont, right on the French border just before the Fréjus Tunnel (100 km of slopes). It hosted the snowboard events at the 2006 Turin Olympics, and the snowpark in Melezet still stands where the Olympic halfpipe was. The area is split into two parts on either side of the motorway, the second being Jafferau, linked by shuttle bus. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €49 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
