Valchiavenna

Valchiavenna is the Madesimo and Campodolcino ski area in Lombardy, stretching from Madesimo over the Pizzo Groppera into the Val di Lei (36 km of slopes). From Campodolcino the Sky Express funicular takes you up, most slopes have snowmaking, and the legendary Canalone run from Pizzo Groppera is the highlight for experienced skiers. Night skiing is available in Madesimo. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 27 November 2026 to 4 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €59 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
