Pila

Pila lies above Aosta, the capital of the Aosta Valley, and a gondola takes you from the city to the slopes in just over fifteen minutes, about half the time it takes by car (70 km of slopes). The runs are mostly intermediate, the terrain above the tree line suits ski tourers and freeriders, and families have a children's area, tobogganing and a snow park. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 28 November 2026 to 2 May 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €60 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
