Rosskopf Sterzing

Rosskopf is the local mountain of Sterzing (Vipiteno) in South Tyrol, with the lifts just a few minutes' walk from the centre of a town with a pretty old quarter. The area (20 km of slopes) is family-friendly, with a separate zone for beginners and kids, a long valley run and a 10 km illuminated toboggan run, which skiresort.com calls the longest in Italy. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 4 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €61 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
