Auron sits on a sunny plateau above the Tinée valley in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Nice area (135 km of slopes). You can get up from Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée in the valley or from Auron itself at 1,600 m, and the runs cover every level from steep to beginner, with large sun terraces at the restaurants. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 18 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €44 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
