Valmeinier is linked to neighbouring Valloire to form the Galibier Thabor area in the Maurienne in Savoie (160 km of slopes). Across the two sides you ski on three different mountains, and the slopes are mostly served by chairlifts and gondolas. Night skiing takes place at Valmeinier 1800. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €53.60 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
