Valmorel is part of Le Grand Domaine in Savoie (Tarentaise valley), which links it with Doucy-Combelouvière, Celliers and St François Longchamp over the Col de la Madeleine (165 km of slopes). The slopes are mostly reached by chairlifts, though some sections are served only by drag lifts. A new 10-person gondola opens at Combelouvière for 2026/2027. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 19 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €58.50 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
