Portes du Soleil

Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski areas in the world (580 km of slopes), linking twelve sub-areas on both sides of the French–Swiss border, about an hour’s drive from Geneva. Its sheer size means a huge choice of runs both above and below the tree line, several snow parks, beginner and children’s areas, and plenty of room for freeriders. A new high-speed chairlift, Pointe du Chéry, arrives for 2026/2027. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 28 November 2026 to 18 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €72 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
