Montgenèvre is the French end of the Via Lattea area (400 km of slopes), which links Montgenèvre via the border town of Claviere with the Italian resorts of the 2006 Turin Olympics: Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, San Sicario and Cesana. The terrain is varied, from open slopes above the tree line in Sestriere to light larch forest in Sauze d’Oulx. There is night skiing in Sestrière. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 28 November 2026 to 18 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €66 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
