Orcières Merlette is a resort in the Hautes-Alpes, in the snowy Écrins massif in the Southern Alps (100 km of slopes). The main area starts from the village at 1,850 m, with combination lifts and chairlifts leading up to the slopes of Drouvet (2,655 m) and Col de Freissinières (2,782 m), with runs of every level. Besides skiing there is tobogganing, cross-country skiing and ice skating. The planned 2026/2027 season runs from 12 December 2026 to 11 April 2027, and an adult day pass in main season costs €46 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
