Axalp Brienz

Axalp ob Brienz is a small family ski area in the Bernese Oberland (Interlaken region), set on a clearing at around 1,535 m that you reach from Brienz in 35 minutes by post bus or car. Its 15 km of slopes and 3 km of ski routes are aimed especially at families and beginners, and besides skiing there are cross-country trails, winter hiking paths and snowshoe trails. The season usually runs from mid-December to early April, and an adult day pass in main season costs CHF 55 (approx. €59) (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
