Les Paccots et la Région

Les Paccots lies in the Fribourg Pre-Alps, about 15 minutes from Vevey and 30 from Fribourg, and its ski area (Les Paccots/Châtel-St-Denis – Corbetta) with wide slopes is a good pick for families and beginners, though advanced skiers will find some challenge too. It has 9 km of slopes and 11 lifts, night skiing, and the village is also good for snowshoeing and cross-country. The season usually runs from mid-December to mid-March, and an adult day pass in main season costs CHF 45 (approx. €48) (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
