San Bernardino lies in the Val Mesolcina (Misox) in the canton of Graubünden. The ski area (39.8 km of slopes) reopened for the 2023/24 season after several years of closure, and most runs are at 2,000–2,500 m, where snow is more reliable. There is night skiing on Pian Cales. The season usually runs from early December to late March, and an adult day pass in main season costs CHF 49 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
