Rothwald Wasenalp am Simplon

Rothwald Wasenalp am Simplon is a small ski area right on the year-round international pass road to Italy, about 3 km from the Simplon Pass, in the Brig Simplon region of Valais. The valley station is at 1,750 m, there is plenty of free parking, and you can also come by PostBus from both the Italian and Swiss sides. The resort has 25 km of slopes and 3 lifts. The season usually runs from mid December to late March, and an adult day pass in main season costs CHF 44 (prices from skiresort.com as of 22 October 2026).
